Job description

Key accountabilities
|
|
· Interpret instructions and related information into meaningful work.
· Check and sign work orders and review work plan
· Plan & schedule labour, material and equipment efficiently and within set time frames.
· Maintain effective lines of communication between the implementation and execution functions.
· Maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
· Supervise and coordinate training activities
· Supervise and participate in the planning, laying out, construction, repair and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structures and fixtures.
· Plan and schedule work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities.
· Estimate time, cost and supplies required for projects.
· Direct any rework or modification.
· Conduct periodic inspections, determine needs; establish and coordinate program schedules
· Ensure that all equipments are safely used.
· Coordinate and direct outside contractors and vendors as required.
· Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
